About Us

It all started with ONE goat, isn’t that how the story always goes?? We purchased our first goats in 2018 while still living in town. We were getting ready to move out to the country and knew that our property was going to need some serious goat therapy to get everything back under control. I purchased two dairy wethers from a local farmer and so begins our story.

Fast forward two years, and our daughters were given a set of twin boer/la mancha cross surprise babies that we figured they could use for their 4H projects. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit, and that year there was no fair and no way for our daughters to show their animals that they worked hard on.

Last year we had hoped for some better luck with the pandemic and our daughters were offered a pair of Registered Nigerian Dwarf does for their 4H project. This would be our downfall…… Who knew that these short little furballs could pack so much love and personality into their tiny little bodies. We were in love! So much so, that our herd of 4 goats turned into 13!

This year has been a completely different story, I have met so many wonderful breeders and advocates for Nigerian Dwarfs. I have been able to purchase animals from across the Pacific Northwest and am excited for the future improvement of our herd.

Our two year goal is to be able to participate in ADGA plus, begin milk testing and hopefully get a linear appraisal in there too! I am most excited to be able to participate in some local sanctioned shows this year. In the meantime, we will continue to love and spoil all these guys, and the kids will be able to grow more confident with the animals and seek personal improvement within themselves through the 4H program.
